Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actress, singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer first began her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as playing the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. The couple has three brothers. As a teenager she was a nightclub performer in the dark, escaping from home. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, performer and actor. Her acting career at the Wooster School when she was 13 years old. Born on April 28, 1967, and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her German-American father is an auto dealer as well as a police agent. Kari is the youngest of three children. In her early years as an teen, she would perform in clubs by taking a break from home. Kari was studying acting by the time she was just 13 years old. Her next stage of study was drama at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College, as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, with Uta Hagen, a renowned instructor. Kari started acting in her teens, with her first break on television coming on 1987's MTV Remote Control.
